The world-famous Ferrari company has a wealth of experience in the high-tech world of Formula One, and that knowledge has been generously applied to the technology used in the LaFerrari, which has a production run of only 499 cars. Its 6,262cc V12 engine is paired with the HY-KERS hybrid system for an impressive 963hp. This is an R/C model assembly kit of the car. Its polycarbonate body accurately recreates the LaFerrari's dynamic form and deep curves, with separate parts included to recreate the distinctive side mirrors, plus light cases. It is mounted on the shaft-driven 4WD TB-04 chassis, which features a horizontally-positioned motor and is adorned with sharp 5-spoke wheels on 24mm-width racing radial tires. The TB-04: Efficient Shaft Driven 4WD with Excellent Handling
The TB-04 is an efficient shaft-driven 4WD touring car chassis which also offers its drivers crisp handling, as its main frame has a low center of gravity while reducing contact with the track surface to a minimum. The layout places the battery pack longitudinally on the right with the motor horizontally in the left-rear for superior stability during acceleration. 4-wheel double wishbone suspension employs CVA oil dampers, with an inboard front suspension (IFS) setup. The long steering tie-rod system refined on the TRF417 chassis provides optimized Ackerman steering for on-road racing, while an aluminum propeller shaft and full ball bearings ensure smooth transmission of power, along with front and rear gear differential units.
